Eric Baum is a composer and music engineer specializing in orchestral music and sound design. Morphing his classical training into a modern production career, Eric seeks new ways of creating music by adapting technology as both an audio engineer and computer programmer. Eric often bends the rules with specialized software and MaxMSP to create unique sounds and interfaces. When it’s time to tie audio projects together, he uses the industry standards, Ableton Live, Logic and Protools, to compose for film & television.
Eric is a published songwriter & composer featured on FOX, E! Network, CBS, and Bravo. He scored scenes and served as music editor for the award-winning film Los Bomberos, which premiered at the Napa Valley Film Festival and won the Best Documentary Award at both the Lisbon International & Victoria Texas Film Festivals. The film features the incredible story of young Peruvians and currently streams on Amazon. He scored scenes and produced music for I Love Bekka & Lucy, the upbeat series about quirky best friends that premiered at SXSW 2017. The series, which was the first digital series to premier in SXSW’s Episodic section, launched with Stage 13, Warner Brothers Entertainment’s digital content brand.
